Oklahoma Wesleyan men's basketball ended in the round of 16 in the NAIA national tournament last weekend.

The Eagles fell to the Langston Lions, this year's national runner-up, 56-55.

Looking back at the season that was, the Eagles put together their second 30-win season over the last three years. This season was also the second time in three years that the Eagles won 20 conference games in a season.

With the offseason now in full swing, head coach Donnie Bostwick talks about his team developing during the time off.

The Eagles will lose three seniors off this year's team. Amari Woods, Blake Hamblin and Daniel Oluwasuyi will graduate at the end of the year. OKWU returns many signature stars next season, including Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Player of the Year Tamaje Izuagbe and KCAC Defensive Player of the Year Jaden Wilson. OKWU had 10 underclassmen on this year's team.

Bostwick says the strength was in the numbers.

The Eagles finished out their season with an overall record of 30-4.
