Sophie Frye Reaches Big Milestone
No more games this week for Bartlesville High volleyball. BHS will have six days off between games during a brutal time in the schedule.
The Bruins fell in a tight match against a top-10 Bixby program on Tuesday. Bartlesville will have matches upcoming against Owasso and Broken Arrow, both of which are also top-10 teams in the state.
Despite the loss on Tuesday, Bartlesville senior Sophie Frye reached a career milestone. She now has 1,000 digs. Frye is a three-year starter.
BHS head coach Andrew Blain talks about that accomplishment.
BHS is about 2/3 of the way done with its schedule. Most of Bartlesville’s heavy game action in tournaments are earlier in the season.
BHS goes to Broken Arrow for its next match on Tuesday.
