Taten Longan - Patriot Auto Athlete of the Week
It is another Monday, which means it is time for another Patriot Family of Autos Area Athlete of the week – powered by Tri County Tech. This week, we turn to Ramona as Caney Valley Trojan senior Taten Longan earns this week’s honors.
For Longan, he comes from a sports family as his dad, Deric Longan, is the Head Coach at the same school he plays at. Longan talks about the unique dynamic with his dad.
Taten and the Trojans season just recently came to a close as they lost to Oklahoma Union in Regional play. While the season didn’t end the way he envisioned, the Trojans still had a great season. Longan talks about his high school basketball career coming to a close.
For Longan, he says his education will not end after high school. Longan is slated to graduate this May from Caney Valley before he gets ready to head off to college. Longan shares his collegiate plans.
