Venables Talks Bedlam
OU head coach Brent Venables had his time at the podium on Tuesday previewing Saturday’s Bedlam matchup in Stillwater – and talking about the loss to Kansas a week ago.
Despite the lopsided Sooner advantage in the rivalry game over the past century, Venables stressed that a lot will be decided in the conference race on Saturday afternoon.
He also talked about the longevity of Mike Gundy as the Cowboy’s head coach.
Many Sooner fans voiced their displeasure with offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby following OU’s loss at Kansas last week. Oklahoma’s offense sputtered a bit down the stretch, which led to KU getting the ball back with a chance to win.
Venables says that comes with the territory.
A 2:30 kick on Saturday afternoon from Boone Pickens Stadium.
OU broadcast airs on 100.1 – KYFM. Cowboy broadcast airs on KWON -AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
