Washington Co. Commissioners Sign Letter for More Rural Broadband

Nathan Thompson
More broadband access could be coming to rural Washington County after the Board of County Commissioners signed a letter of support to the Oklahoma Broadband Office.
The commissioners approved the letter Monday morning for Resound Networks as the company applies for additional grant funding through the Broadband Office.
Commissioner Mitch Antle gave more detail on Resound Networks and how broadband access is improving in the county.
Antle says the commissioners have signed several letters of support for companies to establish rural broadband internet, including successful projects from Totah Communications, Dobson Fiber and Cox Communications.
