Bartlesville Man Facing Failing to Yield Charge

A Bartlesville man is facing multiple misdemeanor charges after allegedly running from police and breaking into a residence.

39-year-old Michael Agoado was charged on Friday with breaking and entering with unlawful intent and failing to yield as a pedestrian.

According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on May 5, Agoado allegedly used a stolen key to break into a residence and stole a pair of headphones.

According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on July 10, Agoado was allegedly spotted by police in an alleyway between Wyandotte Ave. and Seneca Ave. Agoado allegedly saw police and ran diagonally across Frank Phillips Blvd. towards oncoming traffic.

Agoado has multiple felony convictions from 2009 to 2021.

Agoado will appear in court again on Aug. 6 at 1:30 p.m. His bond is set at $15,000.
