Bartlesville Softball Postponed Til Wednesday

Bartlesville High softball did not end up playing its crucial District contest against Yukon on Tuesday night.

The Lady Bruins postponed the game until Wednesday night at 6:00. Winner will have an inside track for 2nd place in 6A District 2 and a home playoff Regional.

FULL ORIGINAL PREVIEW: 

Huge matchup on Tuesday night for Bartlesville High softball, as the Lady Bruins will host Yukon in a battle for second place in 6A District 2.

BHS owns a win over the Millers on the road back in August. A sweep would go a long way toward getting BHS some home playoff games in a few weeks.

Bartlesville is 6-4 in District action. Yukon enters the game at 5-3.

The Lady Bruins are 21-10 overall and comes into the game with some juice after winning six games in a row. BHS beat Preston on Monday night, 2-1.

Head coach Kyle Minton continues to preach situational hitting to his team during the stretch run of the fall.

A 6:00 scheduled first pitch on Tuesday from the softball complex off Madison. After Tuesday, Bartlesville has only one more District game remaining on the schedule at Sapulpa on Friday.
