Bartlesville High boys’ basketball is back above the 10-win mark for the first time since 2021, as the Bruin boys beat Pryor on Monday night to put a bow on the regular season.

BHS topped the Pryor Tigers, 84-59.

Bartlesville used a staggering offensive first quarter to put the game away early. The Bruins made six three-pointers and led 30-9 at the end of the first eight-minute stanza.

This three from Hunter Holmes rounded out the first.

The Bruins had a highlight reel dunk off a pass off the backboard from Dennis Duncan to Holmes later on in the half.

The 21-point lead was trimmed to nine at one point, but BHS quickly got it to double-digits and kept it there.

Head coach Jake Christenson talks about the Bruin win.

Now, it is officially playoff time. Lady Bruins face Owasso on Thursday night at 7:30 in Muskogee. Bruin guys take on Union on the road on Friday at 6:00.
