Caney Valley (OK) Lady Trojans in Area Tournament
The Caney Valley Lady Trojans are still kicking in the 2A playoffs after booking a trip to the area tournament over the weekend.
The Lady Trojans beat Hooker by one in the regional consolation championship to advance, 32-31. Head coach Deric Longan talks about winning that game.
The Lady Trojans must win three straight games to get to state. Caney Valley takes on Okemah in the first round of area. Okemah is 21-7 overall and the No. 13 team in the state. They fell to No. 1 Dale in their regional championship game, 49-36.
The Lady Trojans tip-off against Okemah at 6 p.m. in Enid on Thursday night.
