Dewey Hoops Falls in Regional Semifinals

Dewey basketball fell in the regional semifinals in Adair on Tuesday to Wyandotte, 79-51.
Dewey got off to a good start on offense before stalling out in the second quarter. Tra Hicks and Kooper Crawford both made three-pointers in the first. This one from Crawford put Dewey up three.
Wyandotte responded with a lights-out performance from the outside in the second quarter, striking for 27 points. They led Dewey at halftime, 42-21. Although Wyandotte never slowed down offensively, the Bulldoggers were able to generate some offense.
Dewey could never threaten the deficit, Wyandotte grew the lead into the 30s before the final buzzer.
In the girl's game, the Lady Bulldoggers were down only 10 at halftime to No. 2 Adair before falling by 22, 63-41.
