OKWU Baseball Lands 11 All-Conference Nominees
Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball landed an impressive 11 players on the KCAC All-Conference List. The Eagles also had the Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year for the KCAC.
OKWU landed six names on the All-KCAC First Team list. Ravaugh Morgan, Connor Hickey, Jorge Aldrete, Evan Foor, Michael Mendoza and Victor Sanchez made first team all-conference.
Javier Marcial and Luis Antigua made All-KCAC Second Team. Matthew Weidkamp, Brayden Caldwell and Ashton Luera made All-KCAC Third Team.
On top of the all-conference nominees, Ravaughn Morgan won KCAC Player of the Year, Evan Foor won Pitcher of the Year and a Gold Glove Award as a pitcher. Alan Covarrubias was named the Champion of Character.
Head coach Kirk Kelley won Coach of the Year for the KCAC.
OKWU baseball heads into the opening rounds of the NAIA postseason on May 12. They will know their opening round assignment on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
