OKWU Baseball Meets Huston-Tillotson to Open Nationals

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball opens the NAIA postseason Monday morning in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The Eagles open a five team opening round tournament against Huston-Tillotson University. OKWU is joined in the bracket by the host LSU Shreveport, Mid America Christian (MACU) and Loyola University New Orleans.
If the Eagles win their game on Monday, they would play again Monday night against LSU Shreveport at 6 p.m. If OKWU falls, they would face elimination Tuesday morning against the loser of MACU and Loyola.
A season ago, OKWU finished 1-2 in their opening round tournament and was eliminated prior to the NAIA World Series. If OKWU wins their opening round bracket, it would be their first time in the World Series since 2021.
The Eagles enter the postseason with a record of 36-17. They were the runners-up in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) tournament.
