Washington County District 2 Commissioner Mike Bouvier handily won re-election on Tuesday.  Bouvier picked up 1,591 votes or 58.54 percent of the vote.  Bouvier run un-opposed four years ago but each time former commissioner Linda Herndon ran she had two opponents in the primary and it went to a run-off each time. He complimented his opponents for running a good race.

Bouvier's opponent Don Pippin garnered 696 votes and says he will run again in four years.  Johnie Johnson picked up 431 votes.  No Democrats filed for county offices in Washington County.
