Brown Wins Democratic Nomination for Osage County Sheriff

The final precincts reported in just before 9:30 Tuesday evening in the Osage County Primary Elections. The Primary election drew low numbers in total voters, with only approximately 3,200 across all precincts.

 In local elections Osage County Undersheriff Lou Ann Brown came away with the nomination over Deputy Sheriff Charles Cartwright in the Democratic Primary for Osage County Sheriff. Brown took just under 62% of the total votes.

In the Republican race for Osage County District 2 Commissioner, candidate Kevin Paslay took in more than 80% of the total vote over candidate Joel Blankenship.

In other races, incumbent US Representative for District 3 Republican Frank Lucas took 73% of the vote over Desiree Brown, and Incumbent Democratic State Senator Kevin Matthews won over Darrell Knox with 68.5% of the vote. Stay tuned for more election details on Bartlesvilleradio.com
