Pawhuska will be hosting a Creative Community Town Hall forum on Friday November 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Business Development Center located at 1225 Virginia Short Street. The goal of the event is to “engage diverse voices from across the community in developing creative ways to continue moving Pawhuska forward in the areas of education, commerce and culture.”

The event is free and the public are encouraged to attend and provide a voice for their community. Oklahoma Creative Communities Pawhuska is hosting the event and is an initiative led by residents who want to contribute to solutions for local needs. The organization and forum build on the foundation laid by research and focus groups previously conducted by Smart Growth America (SGA), and moves ideas that emerged from the SGA process into action and change that benefits the community.

Registration or reservation is not required to attend the Town Hall. For questions or to learn how you can become involved, please contact Ed Long at ed.long@crosssectorinnovations.org or 405-922- 7580.
