About 50 people gathered at St. Luke's Episcopal Church Monday night to hear from area school superintendents.  The forum was sponsored by Public Education Advocates -- or PEAK.

PEAK held its first forum about two years ago and worked to raise awareness on school funding issues.  Moderator, Kari Bostwick said the purpose was to arm those in attendance with accurate information so that when they engage others in conversation they will be informed.

The 90-minute forum covered issues ranging from the four-day school week to a lack of people who are entering the teaching profession.

Governor Stitt has pledged to make Oklahoma a top-ten state in education.  The four superintendents on hand were largely in agreement with Bartlesville's Superintendent, Chuck McCauley that you first have to define how you rate schools. McCauley says local employers have questions about what schools mean to them.

Bartlesville Public Schools have a job fair set for Saturday.
