Two men appeared before a judge at the Washington County Courthouse facing several felony charges. Washington County Deputies responded to a burglary at Richardson Ranch which resulted in the arrest of Erik Wagnon and Philip Spriggs.

According to an affidavit, dispatch advised that the men had left the property in a gray Chevy Tahoe heading south on Highway 75. The Tahoe would run into a metal barrier but the pursuit continued east on 4050 Road off of Highway 75. The Tahoe eventually came to a halt in a field off of 4050 Rd.

Wagnon was observed crawling into the back seat of the vehicle as the officer approached the vehicle with his pistol raised. Spriggs was sitting in the front seat with his hands above his head. When ordered to get out of the vehicle, Wagnon and a woman exited. Spriggs remained in the front seat. While waiting for back, the officer noticed a 2-year-old child in the back seat of the car.

Wagnon was charged for driving without a license, marijuana and methamphetamine possession, 2nd degree burglary, felony possession of a firearm, child endangerment, reckless driving, driving under the influence and damage to state property. Bond for Wagnon was set at $50,000. Spriggs was charged with 2nd degree burglary, marijuana possession and felony possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $10,000.

Both men will reappear in court on April 12th at 9 a.m.
