The Dewey School Board approved a food service software license, training and implementation agreement through Infinite Campus Monday night. The agreement with Infinite Campus was for the 2019-2020 School Year in the amount of $7,228. The item was approved because it would give Dewey Public Schools more efficiencies.

The Board also discussed a lease purchase agreement for one Thomas built activity bus for $25,133 per year for 5 years. After long discussion on the bus, the Board decided to make an outright purchase of the bus in the amount of $110,717.

Board Member David Cleveland said the effort would save the District $15,000. He said it isn't scary to pay an extra $15,000 but he did not believe the Board would be good stewards of the District's money if they paid $15,000 more for an activity bus.

Discussion and action on a resolution to determine maturities of, and setting a date, time and place for the sale of the $1.2 million General Obligation Building Bonds of the School District followed. The Dewey School Board approved a Thursday, April 25th date in the McCrary Conference Room at noon.
