The Nowata County Commissioners extended a resolution closing all county property until May 4^th. The measure was previously set to expire on Monday, April 6^th. This will keep the courthouse and other county buildings closed to the public. The resolution was extended in accordance with statewide and national measures. Board Chairman Burke LaRue read from the resolution.

LaRue later stated that he believes all county employees are valuable and he appreciates the measures they have taken to keep the county running. District two commissioner Doug Sonenberg encouraged residents to make contact with their neighbors.

The meeting took place with limited attendance and spaced out chairs at the county annex building.
