State Question #802 will be on the June 30th primary ballot. It is an initiative petition supported by those who want to expand Medicaid program for low income Oklahomans whose income does not exceed 133% of the federal poverty level.

Dave Bond with Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs says there is more to this than what meets the eye.

First, if passed, it would become a part of the state Constitution and it would be difficult, if not nearly impossible to repeal.

Bond says the measure is one of the last pieces of Obamacare and would expand coverage to able-bodied persons 18-65.
