An annual tradition took place in Nowata on Monday. Local 4-H students were on hand at the Nowata County Commissioners meeting to present a proclamation for National 4-H week. Representatives Kinley Langworthy and Addison Dick from Oklahoma Union 4-H and Caleb Pamsin and Jace Hawk from Nowata Elm Bend 4-H read from the proclamation. Here is an excerpt.

 The commissioners unanimously approved the proclamation. National 4-H week will run from October 4^th-10^th.
