The Nowata County Commissioners met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday morning. The board spent a bulk of the meeting in executive session discussing two different matters. No action was taken on an item on County Road 26. The commissioners also discussed the emergency manager position.

Also in the meeting, Ron Glenn from Glenn Security Systems was on hand to discuss adding facial thermal imaging cameras to county buildings. The Nowata County Jail currently has a system. Glenn talks about the other capabilities of the technology.

The discussion revolved around adding the systems to the front and back of the courthouse as well as the Nowata County annex. No decision was made on the purchasing of the devices.
