Councilman Stuart, Vaclaw Raise $1,285 for United Way

Bartlesville City Councilman Paul Stuart and Tyler Vaclaw will not be getting tattoos of Bartlesville's latest mascot - Bville Bill the Bison - but they did raise money for a great cause.
In Councilman Stuart and Vaclaw's challenge to raise $25,000 for Bartlesville Regional United Way (BRUW), $1,285 was raised by 18 donors through a GoFundMe account organized by Stuart. Councilman Stuart said the goal was to raise funds for BRUW while promoting Bville Bill the Bison, who encourages the public to practice the three W's: wash you hands, watch your distance, and wear a mask.
You're encouraged by Councilman Stuart to keep doing your part in stopping the spread of COVID-19 in our community. He said we can do our part in setting the example and reminding others that they need to do their part too.
Councilman Stuart said he will take the COVID-19 vaccine whenever it is offered to him. Stuart encourages you to get the vaccine as well. He also encourages you to continue to get tested for COVID-19 to know where you stand with the virus.
The challenge to raise $25,000 for Bartlesville Regional United Way that was created by Councilman Stuart and Vaclaw concluded at midnight on New Year's Eve.
