A three vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of northbound Highway 75 and Don Tyler Avenue in Dewey on Monday morning.

Dewey Fire Chief Jacob Cox said a U-Haul truck hit the back of a Dodge Ram 3500 which hit the back of a white SUV. Chief Cox said the driver of the U-Haul couldn't slowdown in time and slid on the wet asphalt. He said drivers should give themselves plenty of time when roads become slick due to weather. He said drivers should also pay attention to their surroundings.

Chief Cox said the drivers of all three vehicles declined medical treatment. He said there were no injuries to report.

The accident was cleared by noon on Monday. Chief Cox said they blocked one northbound lane of Highway 75 while they were clearing the accident. He said the Dewey Police Department, Dewey Fire, and Bartlesville EMS worked the accident.
