Freezing drizzle has been falling across northern Oklahoma since late Sunday night causing for some slick road ways. Osage County Emergency Manager Jerry Roberts says several roads are closed across Osage County and multiple wrecks have occurred. With the temperatures expected to drop throughout the day, Roberts says he expects things to get worse before they get better.

Roberts says the more people who can stay in the better off everyone will be, but for those who do have to get out, it is important they be cautious.

Roberts says if someone were to get stuck in a ditch in Osage County, they can call the Sheriff’s Department at 918-287-3131 and they would send someone out to check on them. Roberts warns that could be up to 90 minutes before someone gets there to check on them, however.
