There was some big coaching news for the Bartlesville Bruin football team, as it was announced on Friday that they will be hiring Michael Briglin as a defensive backs coach for the 2021 season. Briglin has several years of college coaching experience, including being at Clemson University from 2015-2019 where he was the nickel/safeties coach for the Tigers. During his time at Clemson, the Tigers won two national titles.

Briglin most recently spent time as a safeties coach at Abilene Christian University. Before serving at Clemson, he was an assistant coach at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio from 2010-2014. He spent one season as a high school coach in Hawaii where his team won the state championship.
