A resolution regarding a donation from the Cherokee Nation to the Washington County Emergency Management Operations Center was approved by the Washington County Commissioners on Monday. County Clerk Annette Smith told the Commissioners the $3,500 check was received last year but was never cashed, so the check was re-issued. The donation is to support local volunteer fire departments.

From there, the Washington County Commissioners would approve a letter to Smith regarding receiving officers.

Lastly, bids were opened at 10:00 a.m. Washington County EOC was looking to bid off one or more custom command/communication trailer(s) with tandem spread axle configuration on torsion axles. Two bids were opened and held for further review. One bid was from R&M Race Trailers for $60,380. Another bid was from Missouri Great Danes Custom Trailers for $63,220.

The Washington County Commissioners will meet again on Monday, March 8th at 9:30 a.m. They'll meet on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 400 S. Johnstone Avenue in downtown Bartlesville.
