Bartlesville High freshman guard David Castillo continues to make headlines, as Castillo had another big announcement on Thursday morning on social media.

Castillo has received an invitation to the USA Basketball 16 and Under National Training Camp.

USA Basketball is in charge of selecting the teams for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which has under 16 and under 17 championships. Their teams represent the United States at the event.

Castillo had received scholarship offers from Tulsa and Oklahoma State within the past couple of weeks. He averaged 23.4 points-per-game in his first 21 games as a Bruin this past Winter.
