An interlocal agreement between the Washington County Board of Commissioners and the Washington County Public Facilities Authority was amended on Monday morning.

Commissioner Mitch Antle said the item involves the Trust that was created for a future Expo Center in Washington County. Antle said they initially moved money from an economic development "chunk" that the County set aside from the quarter-cent sales tax that was recently passed to continue to its MNO at the jail. He said they also had economic development specifically in the ballot language.

Commissioner Antle said the Washington County Public Facilities Authority has discretion to use those funds. He said the funds will move into the capital campaign for the Expo Center project.

The Washington County Commissioners approved the amended interlocal agreement on a 3-0 vote.
