As the dog days of summer approach, the Pawhuska Huskies continue to prepare for the 2021 football season. Pawhuska lost its signal caller in Bryce Drummond, but younger brother Todd is poised to take over. Outside weapons Holton Justus and Cody Starr graduated, along with run-stopper Jamar Goff up front. Even with those losses, Coach Matt Hennesy is convinced his offense will be even more prolific this year.

There has been some shake-up along the offensive line, but Hennesy says the guys who return bring experience and understand what they are supposed to be doing.

The Huskies finished the year 13-1 last year, with their lone loss coming to Cashion in the Class A state semifinals.
