Last year, the Board of Osage County Commissioners pre-approved an advertising budget for the Tourism Board so that they could use for funding for this fiscal year. Osage County Tourism Director Kelly Bland was at Monday's Board meeting seeking approval for another year's budget. She said it has been very beneficial because they have been able to find many advertising avenues, but added they are looking to add a little bit more money to this year's budget. .

The pre-approved advertising budget Bland was looking for the commissioners to approve totaled $31,500. The commissioners opted to approve that budget for the coming fiscal year.
