At Monday’s Board of Osage County Commissioners meeting, Rebecca Brewer approached the commissioners about a road located in District Three that is closed off to the public. Brewer says there are six lots for sell along that road and wandered why it is OK for landowners to have a chain-length fence up blocking access. District One Commissioner Randall Jones tried telling Brewer she was talking to the wrong people.

The person who bought the property eight years ago said he built that road at the same time.

District Three Commissioner Darren McKinney said that road is not county maintained, but Brewer wants proof of where maintenance of county roads ends. This is something that they will look to provide for her next week.
