The Dewey City Council heard one heck of a sales tax report during their meeting this week.

Dewey City Manager Kevin Trease says the numbers were outstanding. He says they received $99,878.06 in sales tax. He says Dewey's use tax came in at $16,302.61.

Trease says collections saw a near 21.5-percent increase from the same month last year. He says they look forward to seeing what the next month brings.
