State Representative Sean Roberts released a statement on Tuesday. His announcement concerned the Oklahoma City Thunder's requirement that fans must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours or have a vaccine to attend home games.

The statement said in part that by making these requirements, the organization is pushing an agenda of fear. Roberts said if the Thunder and their leadership are unwilling to revise this policy, it is possible that they need to re-examine the tax benefits they receive from the State of Oklahoma.

Roberts went on to say that those funds could be used to support rural community hospitals that are struggling due to President Biden's vaccine policies.
