Arvest Contributes $5K to Paths to Independence

The Arvest Foundation recently announced a $5,000 contribution to Paths to Independence.

Arvest business development representative Earl Sears presented the check to Clair Bartley, executive director of Paths to Independence (PTI).

“It is an honor to present this check on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to Paths to Independence to assist students with educational and life skills,” said Sears. “The mission and vision Paths to Independence has for students with autism spectrum disorders is exemplary. The administration, teachers and staff members have a true passion in meeting students’ needs.”

The funds will be used toward operating expenses and instructional materials as Paths to Independence continues to grow and expand programming

"As PTI continues to grow, the support of the Bartlesville community is essential for our success,” Bartley said. “We cannot thank the Arvest Foundation enough for their ongoing support and generosity. The local Arvest team demonstrates each day Arvest's values through their extraordinary work in the community."

Paths to Independence is an accredited Pre-K through 12th grade private school designed to meet the needs of students with autism spectrum disorders. It is structured to provide instruction in all academic areas, communication, social skills, recreation, and independent living.

The Arvest Foundation seeks to provide funding to grantees who are actively working to create positive change for others. Major areas of focus include: K-12 education, economic development, and enhancing the quality of life throughout the Arvest footprint.
