Killers of the Flower Moon Book Being Altered for Children

It was announced last week that the New York Times best-selling book, “Killers of the Flower Moon” is being modified into a book for younger readers and will be released on Tuesday, November 16th. Here is a Twitter post from author David Grann on the reason he wanted to make the revision”
“After many parents and my own children told me they wished Killers of the Flower Moon would be accessible to younger readers, it’s been a bit of a passion project to adapt it. And I’m happy to announce its finally done and will be published on Nov 16.”
An article from KOSU shows what Washington Post Editor and Osage Tribal member Dennis McAuliffe Jr. says middle-school readers will be able to see, “what racism, both individual and systematic looks like. And once you see it and recognize it on your own, you will always be able to spot it.”
Director Martin Scorsese is producing a film on the best-selling book. Filming took place across Osage County beginning in April and lasting through early October.
