The Board of Osage County Commissioners get a certain amount of money to maintain county roads. The percentage of money each District gets changes every 10 years when the census comes out. 40 percent of this computation is based on road miles, 30 percent is a result of population and 30 percent deals with area. After doing the calculations, County Clerk Robin Slack said this is how things stood based on the latest census data.

Districts One and Two have a slight increase in funding, while District Three will see a slight decrease. These changes will take effect beginning January 1^st.
