A Ramona man was involved in a fatality collision that occurred west of Owasso on Monday.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 91-year-old Leo Mitchell of Owasso was turning east onto 116th Street North out of a private drive when a Peterbilt Dump truck driven by a Ramona man was traveling westbound and struck Mitchell’s vehicle.

Mitchell was originally admitted to the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa in fair condition, but later passed on Thursday night due to injuries sustained in the accident.
