A storm system will bring a strong cold front through the area Thursday morning.

Rain will transition to snow on the backside of the storm system during the day Thursday as temperatures fall through the day.

Locations near the Kansas border in Osage county may see snow totaling 3-4 inches, with lesser amounts further south and east. Snow is expected to end by late Thursday afternoon.
