CITY MATTERS w/ Mayor Copeland

ODOT plans to reconstruct the overpass at US 75 and Adams in 2023.
Bartlesville Mayor Dale Copeland gave us the heads up during CITY MATTERS on Wednesday morning. Although this is a state project, it will affect local traffic.
His Honor also talked about the water reuse pump station and pipeline projects that are underway. He mentioned also that the city earned 2021 OWRB and EPA Awards for innovative and forward thinking.
Copeland was more than happy to talk about the sale tax collections remaining strong, up 13.8% YTD. He attibutes this to the support of local merchants and the success of prior efforts to enhance local retail offerings.
The Mayor touched briefly on the City Strategic Plan to supply direction for our community. He encouraged everyone to listen, learn, and contribute their ideas saying, "It will only be as good as the input received from a broad cross-section of citizens."
He applauded those who have been running the warming shelters for their diligence.
