It was full studio for CITY MATTERS on KWON AM 1400/FM 93.3-95.1 on Monday as Bartlesville City Manager Mike Bailey brought in Assistant Police Chief Rocky Bevard, City Clerk Jason Munninger, Airport Manager Mike Richardson and Travis Reese, an airport tennant.
Bailey recapped the last city hall meeting from a week ago.
Rocky Bevard saluted several officers who had been given life saving awards recently. He also invited everyone the the BPD Block Party and BBQ Cook Off set for Saturday, April 23rd.
Mike Richardsson Travis Reese told us about the weekend training for a group called “Bulldog Flight.” This was a formation clinic that took to the skies on Sunday. Reese said they were preparing for things like air shows and flyovers at sporting events.
The group was originally supposed to train in Lake Havasu, AZ. But after the airport was in need of repair, Reese brought about half of the group to Bartlessville.

Jason Munninger then announced that loca sales tax collections were flat for this month, meaning they did not exceed last year's collection for this time period.However, the city is nearl 2-million dollars over expectations for the fiscal year.
