Shooting Suspect Arrested, One Injured in Bartlesville

Bartlesville Police Detectives have located 28-year-old Tahnisha Roja Collins (pictured right) and she has been placed under arrest for felony shooting with intent to kill. The vehicle as well as the driver and the weapon have all been recovered.
Collins appeared at the Washington County Courthouse on Wednesday. The defendant was in custody as district judge Linda Thomas found probable cause for her arrest on recommended charges of shooting with intent to kill, a felony. Collins could be officially charged as soon as Thursday.
Her bond was set at $100,000 with a condition of no contatct with the victim. Also no possesing firearms or alcohol are further conditions of the bond.

An investigation is underway into a shooting incident near 5th and Shawnee in Bartlesville.
Bartlesville Police Captain Jay Hastings says the incident occurred just before 9:00 on Monday night. Hastings says a female victim walked up to a liquor store and recognized a vehicle and its occupants parked nearby. He says one of the suspects produced a firearm during a brief argument and shot through the passenger window at the victim.
Officers arrived on scene and located the female victim in her apartment in the area. Hastings says the female victim believed that she had been shot. He says the victim was not shot, but had her face cut by shattered glass from the vehicle window.
Police are looking for 28-year-old Tahnisha Roja Collins (pictured below) as a person of interest in the case. The BPD also needs assistance identifying a male subject.
Capt. Hastings says investigators continue to work the case. He advises that the public is not in danger.
