Osage County Assessor Ed Quinton Jr. said that he had spoken with the architects who will be responsible for constructing the annex last week. During that meeting, he learned that they failed to include a few things in their measurements. He pointed this out to the Board of Osage County Commissioners because he wants to make sure no mistakes are made.

Kay County recently got a new annex, similar in nature to what Osage County will be getting. County Clerk Robin Slack said she is planning a meeting to go see that complex and talk to some employees who were involved in that process.

Board members agreed that those progress meetings will be productive, but pointed out that no plans have been approved yet.
