The Arvest Foundation contributes $10,000 to Dewey Public Schools (DPS) during a school board meeting on Monday evening.

DPS Superintendent Vince Vincent says $5,000 will go towards the districts activity fund, which includes the Dewey Education Foundation funding they received from Arvest several years ago. Vincent says the monies will go back into that Foundation to help provide teacher grants. He says the other $5,000 will be spent purchasing a new football scoreboard and game clock.

Vincent says they are very appreciative of their partnership with the Arvest Foundation. He says Arvest is one of their biggest supporters, and they are happy to have them on board.
