At Monday evening's city council meeting, Bartlesville City Manager Mike Bailey gave an update regarding the strategic planning process. Bailey said the committee has drawn up a draft of what they would like to see the vision, mission and values be for Bartlesville. Bailey says they wanted the vision to be straight and to the point, and he believes the committee was able to do that.

Bailey said it was more difficult for the committee to settle on a mission, but once they found the right words everyone liked where it ended.

The committee defined six core values for the city as integrity, teamwork, communication, service, community and innovation. Bailey said this is strictly a rough draft and nothing can be done until the Bartlesville City Council adopts the plan.
