In general, a maximum household must be at 130% of poverty level to qualify for free meals and at 185% of poverty level for a reduced price. For a household of one child and two parents, that equates to a total income of $17,667 for free meals and $25,142 for reduced pricing. For a family of two children, the amounts would be $23,803 for free meals and $33,874 for reduced pricing.

Applications are required to receive the meals free or at reduced rates and they should be submitted prior to the first day of school.
