The Washington County Free Fair is this week, September 6 through the 11th, at the fairgrounds in Dewey with years of tradition and a new look and feel! This year's Washington County Free Fair is themed "Footloose" with some new attractions.

 

Today, the fair is closed to the public for the judging of the indoor exhibits. Later this evening, there will be a Free Fair Fellowship at the pavilion at 7:30 that is open to the public and free of charge. Hamburgers will be served. The event is sponsored by RCB Bank.

 

Other attractions this week at the Free Fair include everything from a car cruise to the farm olympics, a hot dog eating contest, a Saturday Night Dance and some old-fashioned homemade ice cream and dessert.
