It has been roughly three weeks since Miller EMS’s contract expired for ambulance services in the Avant and Barnsdall areas. Since then, an interim solution has been made but it is not expected to be a permanent solution. 

Osage County Commissioner Charlie Cartwright gave an update on the progress on a new rural EMS deal and how the commissioners are planning to make sure this is not an issue in the future.
