Potter Family Legacy Scholarship Established at Tri County Tech

The Tri County Tech Foundation announces a Sapphire Legacy Scholarship endowment from Dorea and Kevin Potter.
The Tri County Tech Foundation announced the establishment of the Potter Family Sapphire Legacy Scholarship endowment. The contribution by the Potters will ensure the provision of a scholarship in their name every year, making a lasting impact on the lives of deserving students.
Kevin Potter, Chair of the Tri County Tech Foundation Board, and Dorea, who serves on the Tri County Tech Board of Education.
“We appreciate their service and look forward to their continued guidance as we move into 2023-2024,” says Kim Smith, Tri County Tech Chief Administrative Officer and Foundation Executive Director.
The mission of the Tri County Tech Foundation is to extend the reach of Tri County Tech and ensure no student is denied an education due to the lack of funds. Endowed funds continue in perpetuity, are never reduced, and scholarships are granted to qualifying students from the interest earnings.
