One Person Killed in 3-vehicle Crash
One person has died after a three-vehicle crash in Rogers County, just north of Claremore.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the fatality collision happened this weekend on Highway 66 approximately one mile north of Claremore. The incident involved a 2018 Honda CRV, a 2005 Ford F-150 and a 2005 Dodge Ram.
The driver of the CRV, 42-year-old Mercy Ogalo, of Jenks, was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries sustained in the crash. She had a 10-year-old passenger, also from Jenks, who was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Tulsa, and admitted in fair condition with internal and leg injuries.
The driver of the F-150, 38-year-old Lisa Aycock, of Claremore, was transported by ambulance to a Claremore hospital. She was treated and released with head, internal, external, arm and leg injuries. The driver of the Ram, 67-year-old Albert Short, of Chelsea, was transported by personal vehicle to an unknown hospital with internal head and leg injuries.
OHP is still investigating the crash.
